Warranty after doing repairs and service work at non dealership mechanics

Which side did you actually replace? Originally you said right, now you say left?

My mechanic and I were both half right, both bearings were fucked. Today we replaced the right bearing and all the noise was gone.

Its exactly as I said it, I heard it coming from the right but my mechanic diagnosed it to be the left. So we replaced the left last thursday, still heard noise, then today we replaced the right, all noise gone.
