Car is damn sexy and I loved how it hugged the road. Test drove it once in May of 2014 but at the time they didn't have the color I wanted. So I waited patiently for 2015's to come in and bought it in Oct. 2014. Oh, and cuz I was having a mid life crisis too!

I've always liked the lightweight rear drive cars from Japan (240Z, 510, 240SX, early Celicas, Corollas, etc). For a long time there was nothing, so when this car came available, I had to have one. In April 2012, I put a deposit on one, sight unseen. I took delivery 2 1/2 months later and have no regrets.

S2000 (summer) and bugeye wrx (winter) both had 140k+ miles.. Needed a dependable car for the long run. I was just finishing up college and GI Bill was spent - FRS fit the bill. Sold both cars and broke even with a new FRS.

Been following its development for years and figured the backseats would help me keep the car after marriage/kids.

Not as raw as my S2K or as usable as my WRX, but it still works for my lifestyle and occasional auto-x. Picking the exact color I've always wanted on a lightweight RWD car was also a plus.

Liked the white gauges and front bumper on FRS but hated the Scion name... But I was just starting full time work again so I didn't mind too much.

No regrets.

YouTube videos and joining this forum I think was the deciding factor for me after I did a lot of research. When I bought the car I never test drove an FR-S or BRZ, the car had to shipped from Toronto and technically I had to 'buy' the car before my dealership would ship it up, but once I sat in it and took it out for a spin, I knew everything leading up to that moment was worth it

Only drove an auto. Want to drive a manual since I plan on buying a manual

Styling got me right away. I was looking for a rear wheel manual car that was affordable and fun.

Nothing out there like it in the price range that peaked my interest.

How much time to i have?

1. Love how the car looks
2. Feels great to drive everyday
3. Wanted a smaller rear wheel drive car
4. Was my PERSONAL choice over the camaro, mustang, miata, and gen coupe(the 2.0T is sweet though and my buddy's modified 3.8 is a blast to drive too)
5. Pretty strong aftermarket, obviously not as strong as say mustang but given its age that's understandable
