For reference, here is what they look like stretched onto a 9" wheel.

I personally hate the look, but to each their own.

HAHA! Look at that! anyone that thinks this is ok for anything other then a show car, clearly doesn't understand how tires work under hard cornering.

stretched tires look "acceptable" only on cars that are dumped to the ground with aggressive wheel specs. on any other set up, it just looks janky like they cheaped out on tires/wheels/suspension. and no, a 1" drop is not the same as being dumped.

I still maintain that the stretched look was born out of 'short on $$ for tires now that I got those tiiiight chrome wheels that cost bank' phenom of mid-1990's fanboi's (and the '64 Impala lowrider crowd)...

I see stretch and feel sadness that someone couldn't afford the right sized tires.

Except it's actual purpose, when used for the right reason, is for tight wheel to fender fitment for wheels that are far to aggressive to run a square tire.

Tires are perfect fit for 17x7, if you plan to go 17x9. It will fit, stretched out and leave a little less than a inch of the wheels uncovered
