I saw someone posted about tirerack being a rip off but their shipped price on 17x9 RPF1 was cheaper than the 3 vendors I contacted on this forum. I'm STX prep not CS.

i'm curious to see how curved or close to straight the spokes will be on a 7 inch width.

i'm considering the same rims but between 8 and 9 inches in width with a 225 40 18 tire.

hope to see pics soon. thanks.

the 7" will look exactly like the 7.5" or the 8"..but the 9" will look flat on the face but you will NOT be able to use a big brake kit with the 9"

what I amm looking to see is how the fatter tires look on the 7" rim for Autocross

If you're dying to install a BBK - not that I am - then you can use spacers with the 9 inch width. RPF1 comes in a decent offset (30 +/-) which renders the wheel flush and makes creating room for a BBK easier.

I can live with a very slight 'bend' to the spokes but its amazing how the RPF1 goes from awesome to forgettable once the curve becomes noticeable.

I really like the look of the 17x9+45 but they will not work for my needs. All the fitment info you need is right here on a few other threads about the 17x 9 rpf1 you can see for your self what works and what does not. For me i would never use spacers... Just sayin. Lol

I plan on running 17x9 et45 without spacers... Not planning on BBK either. I'd never run spacers for autoX/track. I'm not even a fan for DDing.

i hope you know that a 17x8 + 45 has much more room for the brakes than a 17x9 + 35..that round look that you hate is the reason the 8" with rim fits soo well

If you have enough tire (255-265+) to require larger calipers you can't fit that tire on 8" wheel (well you can but 9 is way better).

It's not like you said it can't be done, but, 17x9 et35 with sprint AP kit.
