17x7 RPF1s are coming!!

...in October! Sorry guys. I was really excited to see that there was hope for stock class autocrossers needing a lightweight 17x7 RPF1 wheel. unfortunately they won't be available to ship from Tire Rack until 10/12/12. Does anyone know if they will be available anywhere else earlier?

I know a Enkie dealer personally. Email him with what you want (size, width, offset) at greg@gtmotoring.com . Youll get them a lot sooner and cheaper than tirerack im sure.

I got the same story on availability from a TireRack sales rep. FWIW, he also said that this wheel would be available in two colors (silver and black) and that it would be exclusive to the TR.

I'm still hoping to find some 17X7 PF01's...

All rpf1's come in those colors lol. Tire rack is a rip, bring lube. Also the NT03+m come in the same sizes and a much better looking enkei imo. A little heavier I believe though.

I didn't want to wait and I just went with the traklites. Already have the 42mm offset, weigh 14.3lbs, and are forged.

Just waiting on my tires to show up.

Hey, where did you get these? I thought Motegi Traklites were discontinued... hm?

Got them through my local tire guy.

rimsntires.com lists them for 210 ea... I'd give them a call.

I really like the RPF1's, I've had them for my Miata and my Mustang, but for now I'm probably going to stick with Kosei wheels for my BRZ. I have a set of K1-TS in stock size that were on our Forester that I'm going to swap onto the BRZ when it gets here, and the new Kosei K4R is lighter and cheaper than the RPF1 will be.

Any idea what offset the 5x100 RPF1's will be? Enkei makes them in 45mm, 43mm, and 35mm in other bolt patterns.

Here's all I've got - direct quote from a 5/25 e-mail:

Good news! Enkei is giving us a part numbers today for 17x7 5-100 ET42 RPF1 for Subaru/Scion, this wheel should weigh around 14.5 pounds but will take 90-120 days to get. It will be for us exclusively and be in Silver and Black.

Thanks. The offset is better for stock class autocrossing on the Enkeis than on the Kosies, at 42mm vs 50mm. That 8mm could make the difference between rubbing or not when trying to squeeze a wider tire under the car.

We LOVE rpf1's here. Great look, weight and price. Heres a shot with our supercharged b6 s4

Is this the one you got? http://rimsntires.com/wheelfit.jsp?wheelid=162239. They look great. Where did you find the info that its 14.3lbs and forged? What size tires do you plan to put on it? Please let us know how it fits after you mounted them. Thanks.

I weighed them. And they're specified as forged by Motegi.

I'll post pictures when mounted. Since I'm running RTR for now, I've got the 215 size RS3's. They're almost an inch wider in treadwidth than the stock tires.
