I've put a few chewing gums on all 4 tires now to improve grippiness. Value for money mod.

@Tcoat so I tried that clutch thing you suggested.. Mind = Blown!
Now, if only I can get that center gauge to level 10! I can only get to 7.4. I must not be worthy of this car

Sweet OP your tires are doing exactly what they are supposed to do!

For a while I had decided to pick up some MPSS after the stocks wear out but I think I may pick up another set of the stock tires since they are so much damn fun sliding around everywhere. I think with the power this car has stock these tires are great for maximizing how much fun you can have.

Try downshifting into first at 50, that should get it there

Edit: because math.

0. They were NOT made for the Prius.
1. They are not Prius tyres, only the very top end Prius has them and I think that's only available in Japan and and has a 1.8 petrol engine.
2. They have a fairly poor rolling resistance in Euro tests
3. They have a very high grip rating in Euro dry and braking wet tests

As the OP...

In the dry you will get 100% grip, fine. You can go to 105% the limit and get a bit of tyre squeal. Go to 106% grip and the the level of grip available falls smoothly to about 85% and you slide.

In the wet you can go to 100% wet grip fine (probably about 80% the dry grip on a clean road), you can go a little more and get a tiny bit of float, but when you actually get a slide, the grip levels drop suddenly and unforgivably to about 60% or less. So if your not expecting that kind of grip drop off, you'll get a surprise. If you are expecting it, you get a load of fun at lower speeds.

MATHS! Jeez... did you guys burn dictionaries when you parted company with the English?

It's Mathematics. Note the 'ing S on the end, it's plural. That makes the contracted, abbreviated version also a plural, thus mathS.

'Math' is just as acceptable an abbreviation as 'Maths'. While there's a bit of logic in using 'Maths' as an abbreviation, it boils down to regional preferences. 'Math' is the common abbreviation in North America while 'Maths' is the preferred abbreviation in the UK.

An alternative argument could be made that 'mathermatics' is just a mass noun that ends in 's' and therefore should still be correctly abbreviated as 'math'. It's all up to where you were born.

Our dictionaries remain intact.
