Indeed there are many rites of passage to become a member of our elite group. You must be able to do a perfect burn out that results in the shape of "8 6" in the pavement, and be able to spell "Calabogie Motorsports Park" backwards with no mistakes.

Any idea if this promo would be applied? It's posted on their facebook page, it looks like the colder it gets a higher discount is applied.

New rule. If you show up in an FRS/BRZ on Saturday and do not have a club sticker on it, automatic back of the grid! Lol

The promo doesn't apply to Saturday evenings as far as I know, but I am asking anyways.

Woohoo!! Tomorrow's the day.

I reached out to a few quiet members in case they hadn't seen info from the event.

Currently, we are at 23 people, still have room for at least 1 more to meet minimum, plus we could add 4 more also (up to 28).

Those who haven't paid can just pay me tomorrow evening.

Should be lots of fun, bring your GoPros and cameras!

I've got a friend that is confirmed for tomorrow. Will he need to prepay or is it OK to bring payment to the event? Looks like this is shaping up to be a great event

Just to reiterate the format for tomorrow, so no surprises:

2 run groups - each group get a 10-lap qualy with a 70-lap race
The top 3 FT86Club Ottawa members from each group will be invited to the final shootout race.
The shootout race will be 25 laps.
Winner of the Shootout race will be awarded the 1st place trophy.
A trophy will also be awarded to the driver with the fastest lap, from either the 70-lap races or the 25-lap shootout.
