Replying to my self here, but even of the caliper offset was off, they could have machined the rotor or ran a spacer between the rotor and hub to make it functional if not correct.

those calipers look like they could be tapped on the other side to ensure the proper piston is on the leading edge, and the bleeder was still on top...

that looks to be the case for those with the ability to do that.

From the picture, and what other pictures I could find, it looks like they are already tapped. The caliper appears to be merely plugged on the non-bleeder side. Might be as easy as simply swapping the bleeder and plug.

Even if it's not drilling an tapping a hole is not hard work. Granted u will want to make sure it is done right considering its your brakes. But pressurize air and some grease on the bit should keep metal shavings out of the caliper.

Spending that much money on a brake upgrade is a bit much, but then again it covers the front and rear?

I did a Brembo conversion on my sentra. Cost was about $1000 total. Calipers on the front were $200/side. The rears were cheaper. Then rotors were $30/side, and pads are $200 a set from the dealer. I got some cheaper ones, in a factory grade for $35-40. Spending $5k on a brake system is ludicrous.

The STI Brembos may not be that great on the STI, but take away 500lbs and they should be more than sufficient for the lightweight BRZ/FRS. I'm running generic pads/rotors on this 400hp sentra and track days are not an issue, though I only drive about 7/10.

I'm not a cheap bastard by any means, but it seems like their kit is overpriced by about $3000 at least!

Auto Produce out of Osaka. Been around for years. 441,000Y at an exchange rate of 79.48 Yen to the USD = $5548.56 That's just outrageous for this car and plain unnecessary.

swaping sides might fix the upside down bleed issue, but for the price of late generation OEM brembos id rather get properly sized wilwoods.

At least on the pic of the GReddy car it looks like there's a pipe plug on the opposite side of the bleeder screw. It looks like they're swappable, and if not, it's already been mentioned that they wouldn't be that hard to drill/tap for one. I just get worried seeing the pic of that one red 86 in Japan with a big rusted groove in the rotor; either they installed them incorrectly or the setup just plain doesn't work. I tried contacting GReddy directly to get more info but they never replied.

Won't be a swap that I'll be considering any time soon! The stock brakes in the FR-S/BRZ are fantastic, I found out yesterday!
