A little late to this post but I'll add my two cents...

I've got the Perrin intake tube and the Perrin filter... Like others said its not going to blow you away; however, if you want a simple safe purchase to give you a small bump and clean up the engine bay it is great. Since my car is an everyday driver I'm very pleased with what this has provided me.

Also, since it removes the sound tube I'd say the car is more refined without the engine noise being pumped through the firewall. I thought I'd miss the sound I was getting and I found I was wrong. NOT hearing the engine but hearing only my exhaust during hard acceleration was a great benefit of removing the tube. If you don't have a cat back you may miss the engine noise and then hear the wind noise etc...

GLW whatever you decide to do!

Forgot to add... I'll be due to clean my Perrin filter for the first time this weekend. I can let you know how that goes if you're interested in how I find the cleaning to be.

This will be the first time I've had to clean a foam filter and while I do not think it will that life changing I can let you know regardless if it seems that different. HA!

Not worth it from a power perspective.

Alternate Future Reality?

These drop-in filters are allowing the twins to finally hit 88 MPH, thus altering the future.

That's it right? Nothing to do with leaning out the engine a bit for some power....

I have the Perrin intake tube with a Cosworth filter on my car. I like everything about it. Looks good, removed the sound tube, MAYBE there is a very slight difference in power, but I don't care. The $120 was well worth the money to me.

I am curious to see what he was implying with the AFR.
