This is not my first new car and being somewhat experienced with this kind of thing my warranty request was granted and fuel pump replaced.

How much did your dad pay for your FR-S?

Specifically this is the paint peeling/rust on front passenger wheel well. The white residue is wax. What will deal do about warranty repair do you all think?

What do I think the "deal" will do? I'm going with very loud laughter.

Step 1. Sell the car to Wheeler Dealers.
Step 2. Let Edd China fix the paint.
Step 3. Buy it back from Mike Brewer. At a profit, of course.

Problem solved.

After you get your car back, take it to the gas station and explain your tank is almost empty. I am certain they will fill up your FR-S for free.

The dealership offered to replace my rusted exhaust tips because "cosmetic parts" are covered under warranty. Maybe this will fall into the cosmetic maintenance category. It won't hurt to go in and ask. Or just call them.

Paint touch up pens...this car should come with 2 or more.

Seriously looks like someone shot the front end of my BRZ with salt rock in a shotgun. 34k miles on it or highway driving in Ohio. 1/2 of it probably in construction zones, and the other 1/3 in the snow/ice/salt. The paint on this car is definitely softer than others I've had....but if I've learned anything at all..don't own a nice car in Ohio and plan on it staying that way.

Well, let's put the question to you: Do you think OP is serious about getting the dealer to fix that car?

Yes I do! Don't agree (see my previous posts) but think he feels entitled and he actually does not think there is anything wrong with it. It is this sort of thing that drives the cost of cars up. Sure it cost the company a couple of hundred dollars to fix his error but multiply that by hundreds or thousands of people who abuse the system and it now means millions. The same with guys that do drastic mods on their cars (not a slam I plan my own) but when those mods break something else they feel the company should fix it for free. If there is a real problem then the company needs to be held accountable but they ARE a company and need to make a profit or they go away. Sompeople that want something for nothing cost us all in the long run! This has been something I have been very vocal about and have been labeled "fanboy" many times simply because I will argue against abuse of the system (which this clearly would be).
