My Manzo V.2 is just like the EVO 3. Noise and resonance are killer. There is some drone at highway speeds too. I will let you know if this works or not. I have to drive to work tomorrow with now back seat or trunk so it will be loud

But I will the rear half of the car tomorrow

It is only 1/16th thick so I will be going back through to touch up the small openings and then I will add a second layer in a handful of areas. Still need to do in the wheel wells and the front of the cabin but that will be for next weekend.

Interesting. Looks like it conforms to all the angles and curves pretty well. I hope it does the trick for you. How much did the roll of material weigh?

Was trying to find that online but was unable to. I have another roll of product in the warehouse I will go look at in once the materials guys come in. I want to say in and around 7lbs for 50FT, of which I have almost used all of it!

As for the curves and angles, it conforms pretty well. It has the ability to stretch some which helps, but there are a few wrinkles here and there that I,m not worried about. The product seems to stick to itself more than any other surface so I folded it over onto itself in a few areas to improve contouring.

Product weighs in at 5lbs per roll. I have almost used one roll completely just for the rear of the car. Doing a double layer in key areas plus the wheel arches and backing on the interior panels will take up another. Then one for the front of the car so 15lbs total.

I am trying to get my hands on decimeter so I can see if there is a measurable different. From driving the car with no sound mat compared to this morning there is a small difference. It sounds like it would if the seats where in place haha

My GF looks at me like im stupid. She was all like, So its not going to make it any quieter outside of the car right? so why dont you take that stupid exhaust off haha

Because RACECAR

Sorry guys, I been off track from the forum. Work has been extremely busy. I saw your pictures. How does the car sound now being it has been a couple of days?

My ear pain is gone and I can tolerate it better with the silencers in. Gf has yet to ride in it with the silencers. My doc appointment is Sept 24th. So I'm still doing research on sound deadening until I hear what he has to say.

I truly appreciate everyone's input. You have all been a big help so far. Thank you all!

@skyline1627 well not quite finished with the work but there is a noticeable improvement. The rear seats and trunk are still not in my car but it sounds as if they were. And compared to when the car was stripped out and had no sound mat, good god my poor ears. I could even hear the gas sloshing around in the tank.
