Re-doing the axle nut did not fix mine. They had to replace the entire thing. Its the metal getting cracked in the cv joint.

Does it sound like this? My dealer can't figure it out after leaving the car with them all day.

Mine is at the dealers right now for that very noise.

I swore it was a CV joint, so they replaced the whole drvs side axle.
They just called and said the noise did not go away.

So they are going to replace the wheel bearing next.

Here is my noise (sorry vid taken in the dark):

So what was it? Mine is getting worse (clicks more often). Now sometimes it'll click twice in rapid succession.

Btw your video is private so we can't see it.

I had the click in my left rear (for quite some time). It sounded just like the OPs video. It didn't get worse or better.

Recently I had some ARP extended studs installed. The mechanic had to remove the rear hubs. Install complete and now the clicking is totally gone. It's bee a couple of weeks now and the click has not returned. My guess, summin' is loose back der.

They replaced the whole drv side half-shaft that comes with both CV ends.
The noise didnt go away so they replaced the wheel bearing.

Then the noise sounded better to them so they declared it fixed.
On the test drive, I told them they fixed the drv side, but now I could hear the pass side.

So they probably got rid of the noise on the drv side with the half shaft, and they were then hearing the pass side. So they changed the bearing when they didnt need to.

Now the pass side does it and it is getting worse, so I'll just wait until it's about to fall off before I take it back again.

I am convinced it is the CV joint.
Try the video again (it's just audio)

Mine makes the same noise as in the video. The head mechanic at the dealership I currently have my car at swears its a normal noise from the drive shaft, but that doesn't explain why it only started making the noise 2 weeks ago after 18 months of ownership.

Mine does that. I can get multiple clicks in a row. Can always hear it when pulling out of the garage or if I'm on the gas and release, it will click.
