Your case for Spyder's quality isn't going to be strong, seeing as we are in a thread showing how they've peeled in such a short period of time.

Looks as if someone wiped these headlamps with solvent of some kind. Just my 2 cents

Can't say I'm surprised, the quality of their fog lights was crap too. Looks exactly like the problems I had with the DEPO headlights I had on my RSX.

I'm not trying to be a troll, its just the facts. I was just trying to say that the Spyder's are the most expensive aftermarket one because he claimed they were "cheap" when all of the aftermarket options are "cheap". Besides the OEM 86 ones, I guess every headlight is cheap then.

i feel like the only headlights to buy are oem jdm or the new 2014 headlights on the 10 series or whichever the come on.

What i want to see is a fix for the bumper ends keep popping out.

JDM will have the wrong cutoff as they are RHD instead of LHD. You need LHD Euro spec stuff or Monogram/Series 10 lights.

Not to my knowledge. Appears due to just exposure to the elements during normal use.

Peeling Update

The peeling flaking off areas on both headlights has increased by 50% from when the pics above were taken 10 days ago. New area of peeling separate from the first area is about the size of a quarter on the driver's side and the lens coating there does not look healthy. It appears that I can expect extensive peeling/flaking spreading across the entire lens surface within a short time on both sides. Too dark for pictures right now.

Updating thread

Below are pictures of the headlights after 10 days from when the pictures at the top were taken. More surface area now involved and independent spots now appearing. Looks like areas that get the most direct sun are being affected. Close up of the driver's side is in the middle. Highlighted the areas.

Hey,
I have no idea if this would work or not, I was watching a video by Griots garage, a headlight restoration video, in which they sanded the surface down smooth, then sprayed a 3M UV protectant spray…I have no idea if this is the same coating on most headlights, but wouldn’t you be able to sand that shit off and re-spray the light? Worst case scenario if your warranty claim fails.
