Like others have said, I've also gotten nothing but compliments on my stock wheels. I think the two tone looks a lot better in person than in pictures. In the sunlight, the wheels have a sparkle finish on the dark gunmetal part of the wheel. I think it is a beautiful finish.

Coilovers and wheel spacers definitely make the wheels look a lot better. Spray painting OEM wheels is very tacky imo. If you don't like the wheels, get a nice set of aftermarket wheels or get the OEM wheels professionally painted/powdercoated.

Red car with white wheels is pretty much my favorite color scheme and had a red frs been available when I bought mine I would have some white grids on it instead of what I have now.

You might be right, but the point of plasti dipping the wheels is not for a permanent fix. I think a lot of us would agree that the reason they plastidip their wheels is a combination of cheap cost, personalization, easy-to-reverse if you dont like it, original paint protection, and style. Of course, a new wheel and tire setup would be great, but i personally don't have $1000+ for new wheels and tires, or even $200+ for powdercoating (which might i add... is not very reversible), so its good to know i can do something temporary for my own "style" for less than $50. okay. end rant.

My stock rims got stuck in boxes the day after I got my car...they're still three, waiting for me to sell or trade in the car. (:

I haven't done anything with mine yet, still contemplating this one. I like the Red with the grey wheels, but myself, I think I'd prefer a darker color. Not sure yet, waiting on this one. Too busy enjoying the car right now.

I don't like the two tone finish either, nod the style is too busy for my taste as well... That said, they are an extremely well made wheel in terms of finish and quality.

Plus, for those who don't want to go up in diameter, the design does appear larger than most 17" wheels, due to the splitting and separating spokes and the thin polished parts bringing your eye out.

They have grown on me to the point where I do think they look nice on the car, it's just my preferences that can't get on board. I have a second set of lightweight wheels that is getting sticky tires for autox/hpde duty, but I think I'm just going to leave the stock wheels on - thinking of painting them gray or bronze...

would like to plastidip mine black, but one can here is $20, and i'd really like to have something permanent more along the lines of actual black rims..........but that costs, and i already had to buy winter rims

should have used stock for winter, and bought new ones for summer, but wanted winter to be 16''
I was skeptical about the duplicolor wheel paint, so I tried it out on my crap winter wheels on my last car before screwing up the good ones if it was crappy. Seriously though, they came out amazingly well and over 3 winters never had one chip, blemish, etc.

The stock wheels look much much better with spacers and the car lowered. If the car came just like the Epic commercials with the red FRS, I would still be using the stock wheels with better rubber

I've seen wheel paint at auto parts stores but have no experience with the product. Anyone?
