I don't have an RB kit althought even before putting money down on a kit, I've already spent $1800 on Stance Pro Comp 2 coilovers, $500 on Stance Rear lower control arm, $2000 on a Air CUP system for the front, $3700 on wheels + tires (to fit under stock fenders). That's quite a bit just to get the suspension and wheels ready for any kit.
First off you dont need a $2000 air cup system and $1800 coils, just get airride in the first place and save yourself $500 and all the hassle. You dont need $3000 wheels to run a rocket bunny kit, they can be cheap as fuck as long they are the proper spec.

A.

B.
How can you even compare them? A. is static and is at a "functional" ride height and looks just fine. Of course B. looks better but thats because its on air. Its hard to compare static cars to bagged cars.

I agree with OP. Your comparison is shit. "A" wasn't even finished in that picture.

What you talking about? A is finished. Here's another professional shot he took. Wheel gap can be viewed differently depending on angles. If you want to ride static this is to be expected.

Here's another angle.

Reason for that crazy stretch is because he went with a wider or meatier tire, the rear bumper finisher will rip right off. V1 wasn't very throughout when it was initially designed as a show piece. Street functions are out the door unless you ride on air or ride a little bit higher than usual. V2 resolved the finisher issue by elongating the rear piece further down before curving in to allow for more tire to clear the fender when you compress over a bump.

You would save a bunch if you did the install yourself. It actually isn't too hard as long as you have proper tools and should only take about a weekend.
There are also a few videos I just found on YouTube showing you all the steps to the install.
Videos:

I spend a total of around $700 for my install and the kit. Price would've been lower, but I bought my kit before another company came out with the same kit half the price of mine.
Total includes:
Replica kit (~$430 but you can get the IKONs motorsport kit on the forums for $200)
Rivet nuts, bolts, and sealer ($45)
Plasti dip ($200)
Other supplies I thought I would need ($20)

Thanks! I may look into it. I'm just afraid of messing something up because this isn't anything like I have done before. Definitely worth a shot and a good way to spend my summer!

Also, I will be picking up ikons kit. It looks to be getting a lot of positive comments.

Sure thing man! There isn't really much you can mess up on, you have a lot of area that the kit actually covers so you don't have to worry about cutting too much. Just make sure everything is sealed up so no water gets into places that it doesn't need to be.
