Looks to me like the nlpir bin file does not include the license. If you flashed that, your ecu probably is back to stock now and writeable by other tuning platforms, ,but you should ask ecutek or the ecutek tuner to be sure.

What's the point of OPENMAP that are not uplodable with anything that isn't an OFT?

I mean, I understand the point but then it becomes not open anymore.

I assume it's so that other people can't see/edit the tunes. Mind you, I thought those were the values the OFT stood for..... Must be great if you have a non-standard Vortech/ESC setup that you thought you'd like to yweak yourself.

A partial ROM is still open and fully viewable. Nothing closed about it.

Yes true Shiv.. but I can't flash it without an OFT so it's same as ecutek rom.

I believe you will implement these new things when OFT loggable data will be full developed, because right now for anyone that is outside USA the logging abilities are quite poor.

Well looking forward to the evolution of tuning platforms for the twins

Enhanced Data Logging is currently in the process of being implemented in the FA20 OFT (video above shows BMW OFT). Hopefully we should be able to launch in a matter of days. Definitely before we change the format/size of the OFT .bin files.
