I have a question. This pipe is 60mm. The N1 Invidia I have on my car is 65mm. Most headers also have a 65mm outlet. Would this smaller diameter pipe be an issue for performace versus a 65mm overpipe from someone like MOtiv? I beleive in Invidia and will probably buy this but wanted some opinions. Given that our engines NA dont flow massive CFM's of air I would assume its not an issue and would only expedite the expulsion of the exhaust once it leaves the overpipe. Thoughts?

Way I see it, there is a pressure differential to be taken advantage of, as the overpipe is in-between two cats. Reducing pressure behind the first cat should aid flow through it, and increasing volume into the second cat can't be a bad thing, right?

Sorry to disappoint, but you do not have 65mm exhaust. You have 60mm (2.3") with 101mm Tips per their website here.

To my knowledge this is the same for most exhaust and headers leading to my topic about exhaust sizing here.

I have a full Invidia Q300 exhaust, minus the overpipe. The entire piping from the front pipe to the tips is 60mm (2.36")

Ask your gf if bigger is always better.

Replacing everything up to the catback is worthwhile. The stock system is restrictive big time. Pick your flavor of catback.

I like the Invidia system because it's a great design, nice and straight. (no homo)

Seems like a solid choice for an entire system with cats would be:

FT-86Speed Catted Header
This overpipe
Whichever lightweight 2.5 exhaust suits your fancy.

What do you call overpipe back? Catback?

Front pipe + catback is the overpipe back. Front pipe is the 2nd cat and attaches to the overpipe before the catback.
