I've tried driving like a grandma, and I've driven spirited and floored it around people this gas tank. Probably a difference of 2-3 MPG from 28 to 25 for me. I'm going to choose the second method because it's more fun of course. Wide tires and larger wheels probably lower my MPG but I knew that going into it. Winter blend gas should be going away soon so I bet that has some to do with it.

I never really pay attention to MPG when I'm driving. I just drive however I want and fill up the tank when I need to.
However, yesterday I actually kept my setting on the dash to show me Avg MPG and surprisingly I even driving around with fast accelerations and such I stayed about 31 mpg. It's good to know I can hold a decent MPG with my driving, but honestly I don't care too much. I just drive and enjoy the ride.

Yeah. I commute from San Marcos to Austin 5 days a week (All Hwy)...and I work from home so I don't do ANY driving around town unless I'm going to grab some food.

Yeah, my highest snapshot of my car driving to SA when I was mostly stock was 38.5 mpg. I can hit 31 on the highway keeping it right at 70 and no higher currently. Ever since I went with the huge 18X9.5's, I lost an instant 2-3 MPG, lol. Tradeoff was well worth it though.
