Noob: Why exactly do dealers have a hard time finding cars?

Photonic. Something for you to consider. In Alabama (like many states) if you trade-in your car and buy a car from the same dealer you only pay sales tax on the difference between the trade-in and the new car.

Example, if your trade-in was $15K and the new car is $25K you only pay sales tax on the remaining $10K. If you sell your car privately or trade it into a third party dealer you lose the tax credit.

It may not make much of a difference to help you, but if I remember correctly sales tax in Alabama is pretty high? So it could help a little if you can do the deal in the state of Alabama.

I think the Premium has key start instead of push button start. I have the Limited. You'll save come money on the Premium as its a bit less money.

What don't you like about your Hyundai Genesis Couple R Spec?

Before I bought the BRZ I drove and liked the Hyundai Veloster Turbo.

Unbalanced, sloppy transitions from over/understeer. Clunky unrefined transmission, difficult to rev match for me, too heavy.

I it is a car for driving at 8/10ths and around town , not for spirited people. When you hit 10/10ths the flaws in the design rear their ugly head and it falls to pieces encouraging you to drive lazilly and rely on power.

I heard it best this way. The genesis Coupe is like a LARGE plate of not very good food. While the BRZ is a small plate of expertly prepared flavors.

I am more of a 240sx fan. I need light weight and communication from my car. Genesis does not provide. I will probably sell all my S13 stuff to help pay down the brz a little more also.

I found the Hyundai Veloster Turbo to have under and over steer which I don't care for. Otherwise I like car with the bells and whistles it has. Found the same issues in the Genesis Coupe with the steering. Hyundai really needs to get their act together on handling if they want to compete.

Had a similar experience - also liked that the BRZ was more of a "true sports car", and had 200 NA HP instead of turbo HP.

The bells and whistles and the hatchback functionality were nice in the Veloster - but for my money, I'd have bought a Focus ST. Costs more yes, but their bells are shinier and their whistles are more refined. Also 50 more HP.

If I could sell my BRZ for what I want for it, I'd go for the hatchback but it would be the Ford Focus 5 door hatchback Titanium edition. Its the closet to the ST without the ST price.

What I find funny though is that many of the dealerships that were selling BRZs way over sticker price still have 2013s on the lot and they're all marked down several thousand dollars now.

I wonder how many dumb people paid the 3000-5000 bucks over sticker price for their BRZs though, I almost kind of feel bad for them.

Who knows. I leased mine for 3.5 years and the payment is doable. I'll probably try to get out of it early.

Wing is not dealer installed, but its part of the Premium's "A1" option package which includes a few other small items (homelink mirror is one, which is kinda nice for an integrateed garage door opener).

That's what I've gathered about the GC, It has more aggressive looks, a more flashy interior, more power, etc, but for someone who really wants to have a conversation with the car they find it's lacking vocabulary. Good luck with the purchase!
