6/1 would be perfect for me.

I am still finalizing the sale of my V6 MR2 Spyder

same as well... so frustrating, lots of FR-S folks have confirmation that their car is on the ground, have a VIN, etc, and our BRZs are probably sitting in the next lot over, or the same lot even, and we haven't heard a PEEP.

I talked to my distributor, Gulf States Toyota in Houston TX, this morning. He stated all the FR-S cars will to shipped to them by rail after they are unloaded from the port in California. He anticipates that they will receive them next week and then send them out to the dealers.
He did state all First86 winners have to get their cars by May 18.

It appears they will NOT be shipped directly from Japan to Houston as was initially told to us.

I got that exclusive invitation email from Longo and I will be there. They invited the pre order people for this First 86 presentation. I'm #10 on the pre order list.

They are tricky, especially customs. They can hold full shipments of containers for over a month because they need to inspect it and a lack of documentation. So long as Japan supplied all the necessary docs, then Customs can be cleared within a week of port arrival.

I still haven't heard from my dealer though even though I'm first in line for my BRZ pre-order. Looks like I have some questioning to do tomorrow when I bring my Legacy in for service.

The only people who have any info so far are first 86ers and a few people in Canada with BRZ orders. Nobody in the US besides first 86ers knows their date yet.

Not quite true. I'm a First 86er and I haven't heard from my dealer. I called THEM and they still don't know. The best information I keep hearing is a May 18th delivery.

I think there's a number in one of the threads somewhere for Scion HQ. Some people have had better luck with that number than asking their dealer.

I think it's all part of the marketing strategy to keep us all hooked.
