I'm glad VW doesn't make tanks. It'd suck to have a CEL when you're going into battle.

My dad works for Toyota so I've become biased against several brands over the year, that being said, I wouldn't consider myself loyal to Toyota. Before the FR-S I had three different cars, a Nissan, an Oldsmobile, and a Mazda. The Mazda was by far my favorite. I loved that car and really wanted another Mazda to replace it, but ended up with the FR-S for a good deal through my dad's benefits. If I had to pick a brand to be loyal to, or call myself a fanboy of, I'd say Mazda.

Agree with others on the brand loyalty thing... But... if I had to choose just one brand that I'd say I was loyal to, it'd have to be Mazda. For the money, there's no other car manufacturer that puts as much fun into every car as Mazda. It's a company that takes it's engineers very seriously. I'm on my 3rd Miata now, and I really couldn't ever have a garage that didn't have at least one Miata in it.

I loved Honda's from the late 80's up to the death of the Prelude/Integra/6th gen Civic. I suspect most people agree that it was Honda's prime years.

No true loyalties, just biases. That and there's a family bias too.

FoMoCo has the majority of my family now, besides the lone Honda, Nissan, and Toyota products. GM used to dominate, until their quality went downhill and the company went bankrupt.

Besides small coupes, I have a big love of sports sedans, and right now the SS looks great. It's essentially the G8 with a new skin (considering the Pontiac brand is now dead). The SHO also interests me. And don't get me started with Audis.

Not at all. I've had good and bad experiences with each brand but I judge any car I'm looking at on the car's merits only. Just because my free Grand Marquis had issues doesn't eliminate me from considering a Boss302

I tend to have model loyalties rather than brand loyalty. I have enjoyed owning a Datsun 280Z, 1967 Mustang fastback, 1969 Camaro Z-28, Mazda 626 coupe, Acura Integra GSR, 1994 Mustang GT, 2003 Nissan 350Z and Toyota Mr2 Spyder hardtop.

However, I have had some bad experiences with models that have convinced me never to buy certain brands again. That pretty much encompasses anything German made.
