I love black cars.
And they always look dirty.
So I bought Asphault.
These cars look good in every color.

bought black because it was the only one they had in MT.

I regret not getting whiteout. Yes, a Raven FRS looks mean in a way that the other colors never can achieve (imo), but it is just so hard to keep clean. Like, pain in the ass, make you rethink why they even sell cars in that color hard.

but when she's clean, ohhh boy. so mean

-Black was out of the question for me, since the 3 cars before the GT86 where black, and it just shows every little scrap, dirt or really anything on the car. It also "hides" the lines of the car, and since I love every line of the GT86 I did not want a color that hides it.

-Dark Blue was out because of the same issues as with black

-Red...well, still like red very much, and it is still my 2nd favorit. Nothing to say against it to be honest.

-White just shows the line of a car so well, and goes also very well with another color as contrast. Specially the black "plastic" parts of the car work well with a white car, as they give a good contrast and show of the shape of the car even better.

One point however, I'm happy Toyota does not offer the WRB from the BRZ, that would maybe gotten me to change my mind about white.

In the end its whatever you personally like the most. There is no "bad" color for the twins, they look awesome in every color offered
+1, although I didn't get to choose color on my 10 Series but am enjoying the uniqueness and am a fan of all the pearl colors.

White, and the lighter colors in general, seem to show all of the interesting body contours and details a little better. I also like that it's the traditional JDM race car color and would add red wheel center caps to complete the theme.

Firestorm because...race car.

I've always preferred Red or British Racing Green for sports cars. Only exception would be Yellow or Chevy's "red-orange" (think "orange" '69 Camaro) I might have chosen one of those. This is the only car I've liked Yellow on except for the Transformer Camaro.

I almost switched from Red to Hot Lava during the First86 until I found out that Red was actually sizing up to be one of the rare colors (I figured everybody would be getting Red). Also Olivia 1 (my '85 MR2) was red so it sort of a tradition with me.

The nice thing about Red is it doesn't get dirty, it just gets dull. Then when you wash it BAM! The bad thing about red is it shows every chip as a bright white spot.

I do wish the red had a pearl coat on it, but I like the flat red as well.

I had black MR2, green Miata, silver S2000, and a red Mini Cooper. A black car looks best when it's clean. I originally wanted Ultramarine (best color for the FRS IMO) but the dealer did not have one at the time. Black is just classy and low profile.

PITA to keep clean but I love it.

I originally wanted SWP, but the next BRZ that was coming in, and was accidentally ordered as a manual (win for me), was DGM, so I jumped on it. No regrets. I have had a green truck, blacked out car, and red. I always wanted a gun metal/dark grey car. DGM was it for me

I went with asphalt and id probably do it again. Shows off some of the lines well, masculine, matches stock wheels, sleek. White looks nice but its way too common. Black is too hard to keep clean. I had about 3 weeks worth of pics on here to decide from, and I chose asphalt and my dealer ended up having the exact car I wanted.

Only thing I wish sometimes is that I got a WRB BRZ. My last car was a EBP Prelude, love the color.

I wanted white but the 10 series only came in Silver IIgnition. The dealer marked off 1500 from the 10 series, so it was cheaper than a BRZ Limited.

I couldn't justify paying more for the pearl white either.

I had to go with the black. It just looks so sharp... Its a pain to clean, but I don't mind. My second choice was the dark blue because it also looks pretty nice.

Hot Lava - the other colours didn't scream 'Mid-life crisis' loud enough.

Asphalt. The listing said it was Raven. Went to go look at it, 86 was not Raven.

Ended up liking the color so I bought it.

TL;DR: Thought the car was black, it wasn't but i bought it anyways.

I got raven for multiple reason...

1. I'm going for a theme with my cars. Basing them off the four horsemen.
-----1st Horsemen Conquest White Horse (Mitsubishi Starquest... Just so happens to be a conquest lol)
-----2nd Horsemen War Red Horse (3000GT VR4)
-----3rd Horsemen Famine NOT PESTILENCE Black Horse (Insert FR-S)
-----4th Horsemen, said to be the most powerful, Death Pale Horse *pale as in grey* Supra (going to buy it when done paying off FR-S )

2. The name of this black is Raven. My favoite poem by Edgar Allan Poe.

3. Black is fucking sexy.

4. I test drove the black car and it was all they had on the lot. Drove home with it the next day

Now I heard black cars were hard to keep clean, seriously that's a fuckin understatement. MY GOD!!!!! I tried the first two months I had the car. Then I just realized It was too expensive to keep this car clean lol.

If there had been a green, I would have ordered that. There wasn't, so I got ultramarine. No regrets. The next choice would be Hot Lava.
