Boo I just bought a set like 2 weeks ago, they are going on the car next week. Still thinking rust spray or touch up paint for the exposed metal after cutting the rust proofing.

Is there any performance benefit to these (i.e. smoother air flow equals less drag) or is it strictly a looks/GT86 conversion thing?

For me, it's about trying to protect the underbody during the winter.

There was news today that Subaru is coming out with the Blue series BRZ, those come with underbody panels. I hope that allows us to buy them from the dealers.

I think I read somewhere on a couple of the underpanel posts in other boards that they reduce drag or something? but I'm mainly in it to cover ish up

But yeah if there are 3 other willing SERIOUS people willing to do this i'll post up the numbers and figure something out. if we have 3 commited people now, hell i'll order then right now even.

just so I don't have to post again here are the current numbers

Japanparts NumberSelect
484-001-007-S

Description
UNDER PANELS SETS

Delivery time by air
10-15 days

QTY
1

Price
162,500 yen(JPY)
(668.75 CAD)

Parts Total
162,500 yen(JPY)
(668.75 CAD)

Choose Freight MethodPlease advise your choice of delivery method.Your freight is fully insured. To Door:
28,184 yen(JPY)
(301.57 CAD)

So Seeing that it looks like about $970.32 CAD for the set upfront and tax eventually when it does arrive. (due to it not telling me what the cost of tax is I also do not know But please take the possible tax into consideration when commiting)

Personally I would like to take some form of collateral as I would be putting up for the full cost of the order just to simply avoid back-outs but we can work something out.
