The extra bits in the BRZ are easily added to the FRS IMO. I doubt it will cost more than $2K to get the FRS interior looking the same as the BRZ. Either way it's the same shit.

Underneath they're both the same. The differential prices between FR-S and BRZ premium are so small that I can't even fathom people making a big deal over which one to get. When the discussion moves to FR-S vs. BRZ Limited, there's absolutely only one choice if you desire a more luxurious interior; consequently the price discussion should only be a factor in this specific comparison. Weight between Premium and Limited is insignificant at ~14lbs. That leads me to believe the difference in weight between BRZ and FR-S is also going to insignificant. Regardless of how people attempt to compare the two and rationalize which one they're going to (allegedly) buy, it comes down to personal preference in aesthetic. They will both perform the same and parts between the two - outside of exterior aesthetic pieces - will be completely interchangeable.

I'll be the first to admit that I initially pined for the BRZ because it sports a Pleiades badge, my chosen brand. Beyond that, only the Subaru offers HID optics; I refuse to buy a new car in this decade that has halogen optics. I even think that the difference in perceived interior quality is just that: perceived.

We all like the same car here folks: they are twins. One has blonde hair and the other's a brunette; everybody likes something different. Beyond the few differences in available accouterments all differences are perceived and inconsequential.
This post is probably the most true and most mature post I've seen lately.

I'm so TIRED of hearing the BRZ vs FR-S bashing. Folks, they are the same car (minus front bumper, HIDs and a few interior pieces). If you like the BRZ, good for you, if you like the FR-S, good for you.

Now quit bickering everyone!!!!

Geeze this is still going on? I wish people would just stop crying about it and just buy what they like. Changed your mind have you? Well good, but for god sakes don't splash it all over the forum, because in all honesty most poeple just don't care. Sorry if I've offended someone with delicate feelings, but let's PLEASE get over this sh1t and get on to enjoying the car. BOTH, the FRS & the BRZ.

I just know which design I'm attracted to more. aside from that a good chunk of the BRZers I've personally spoken with have said they're going to put an FR-S/86 front end on their BRZ. tells you something.
I've been noticing that quite a few cars have a bumper inside the grill like the BRZ that, in my opinion, ruins the look of the car.

The other thing I wanted was better seat materials, but I am sure Clazzio or even Katzskin will come out with some nice covers.....Im ready to put my order in

It cheapens the look of the car. It makes it look like either a Mazda or a Hyundai. Yuk!!

Hi guys
Today Wednesday I went to NY car show to see the brz/frs

Wow and wow look at that car I was blown away this car is gonna kick ass!! personally I like the FR-S I love the front the car is lowww I mean the sitting position is lowwww like a bed ass sports car !I love the sits the instrument is gorgeous !
I'm not too crazy about the fan and heat controls because I think its all Manual not even vacum assisted it must have wire moving while you turning the nobs anyway its fine with me I'm sure the frs is going to weight less than the brz

Like many ppl has mentioned when they desingd the car they thought it over many times to make sure they make something special!!! Those fender lines around the rear tires are really gorgeous the dash is soft, to see the car in person is priceless,

I have a Scion TC 05 first series to compare it to the FR-S its like day and night the TC its like trying to be a sporty car but the FR-S IS a sport car you can tell by. Paying attention of the details. They really wanted to maximize your experience when you look at the car and driving it. (I have not driven yet)

I'm going to get the frs cause I just don't see the point spending more money for fancy gizmos now I just have to see a firestorm color in person.

Sorry for the off topic kind of reply but I just had to say it.

In your opinion. We don't need more BRZ vs FR-S discussion.
