Color blind? The color is silver, changes to grey/blue/gold depending on lighting

I'm not a fan of silver at all, but I could definitely live with silver ignition. Think of it this way... Silver Ignition is to silver as pearl white is to white. Most pearl whites have a blue/pink "flip" to them as you walk around the car. Same idea, but it's silver with a blue/gold flip.

I work with color for a living, and learned a long time ago that color is very subjective, and everyone sees it differently.
I agree with roddy, its more of a pearl than a silver. I dig it. When I saw these online I liked the feature set, but thought 'ehh I don't want silver. When I saw one in person...then it was 'ohh yeah that's a bitchin color'. Guess which one I put my money on Quote:

Indeed, if they said, you can buy a Series 10 and pick your own colour then yes I'd buy it. Instead its, no you must have it in the colour we choose and that's great if you like that colour...terrible if you don't want it.

I was actually going to vinyl wrap my car when I ordered it. I am not a fan of silver myself but the colour really grew on me when I saw it in real life.

I was on the verge or ordering a Satin White Pearl BRZ (gotta have OEM HID and dual AC no matter what) until I saw the Series 10 in the Auto Show. I never had (nor wanted) a silver car but this is the first and only time I found silver appealing. It'd be cool if the FR-S came in Blue Ribbon Metallic.

Great, gives me more time to eventually get one.
I know not everyone digs the color but silver is a low maintenance color and I think I saw one in person myself and it's not what it seems on online pictures. It's strange, but I liked it. Ideally I'd want a Whiteout 10 series. Now THAT would be sex. ![]() ![]()

White is too high maintenance... baby blue like the old tC would be perfect!

^Harder than black? I have a dark blue Civic and it's not too hard. I'd imagine white would be much easier. Then again I'm kind of OCD and an amateur detailer so it's not really a hassle for me to clean a car, lol.
I would miss the satisfaction of the sheen/depth a newly detailed dark car though, lol.

Hell, in your first pic, the hood and bumper look silver and the rest baby blue, lol. You can almost see the immediate transition on the fender. This color is whack. EDIT: here.
