They're just bushings; as long as you use them in pairs your fine. Each pair isolates a different kind of movement the differential goes through. If you're going to remove any, I'd remove the outriggers. The bushing inserts in the subframe probably do more than them.

I've heard these bushings add a LOT of NVH. I felt like the problem was the rear of the car, but as I continue driving on sticky tires without uprated bushings I'm finding I believe different. You can FEEL the driveline shift THROUGH the shifter during on/off throttle...I think the biggest benefit with the least NVH is going to be STI engine mounts. Still rubber, but WAY harder than the soft OEM crap. That's where most of the movement is coming from IMO.

I have the sti mounts in route from Japan. Going to install them with my header at the end of th month.

I may pull the diff bushings later. I have to see how I deal with the NVH. I will say I was very pleased with it all on my second test drive.
