In autocross that stuff is generally called OPR, "Others Peoples Rubber."
It's so bad at nationals due to the R-compound tires people use electric tire scrapers/chisels to remove it otherwise it causes real issues. |

Nothing happened to the car Dave. It's down south getting corner balanced but wasn't ready in time for last weekend. Should be ready next week.
