Yep you're right, kinda sucks we can't reuse springs and save on cost but it seems a lot of people are buying up custom rates so hopefully some will sell off the ones they don't want.

Btw, I noticed the R1's and R2's are on tirerack and priced well.

There was a price mistaske for the R2 on TireRack a few weeks ago.

I didn't know at the time

When the time comes i'll probably go with uprated springs. Let me know how much you can do for a set of 4. Btw, can you also get hyperco springs?

Really? I coulda sworn they weren't on the website a week ago. Maybe you're thinking of the KW CS?

I wasn't sure which springs rates to go with, so I ended up borrowing @CSG Mike's rates. Hope you don't mind. I ordered 550/650.

Obviously valving plays an important role too but I had to have some kind of base line.

Those rates haven't been tested yet! They're just on the list for rates to test...

Do you mean not tested on the R2s, or not tested on the SRCs? The 550/650 is the closet you can get to 10/12kg, which is the rate the SRCs were tested on.

Different damper, just because it works well on the SRC does not mean it will do as good on the R2.

It has not been tested [yet] on the R2. It's roughly 10k/11.5k, which will lead to a slightly pushy car at static assuming everything else is even. It should be adjustable with damping and pressure changes, assuming the dampers handle the springs well.

2.5'' diameter and 7'' length ERS springs maxes out at 650 for some reason.

I suppose I could do 500/650 instead.

Edit: Changed my order to 500/650 instead, lol.

Update 4/21/2013

Big Willow yesterday 4/20/2013 was a so-so day for me. I got my alignment and corner balance done at @robispec. I ended up getting his fully adjustable lower control arm since I wasnt able to get enough camber in the front and some white line bushings for camber in the rear. Robi set my car for a 2 inch drop I believe and suspension travel for the rear right now is about half an inch. I will get Robi's extra suspension travel solution for the rear after I get my car fixed. I have some aero mod right now thanks to a truck (some of you might know what I mean if you saw me at the track ) It also seems like Eibach designed the strut too tall so suspension travel is lacking in the rear according to Robi.

After I had the car almost dialed in I picked up 3 mph at corner two and over 10 mph at corner 8! Before it was bouncing like hell and I thought it was due to the bump stop but I believe the 400/500 springs helped with hitting the bump stop less hard. Currently dialed in at up 3 rebound from soft and up 2 compression from soft. I wasnt able to to do more testing because I spun out right after turn 9... (video available if requested haha) and after that I ignored this abs and trail braking light because I did a whole lap without issues then first left at the bottom of the omega i braked late and wheels locked up and I went off... the biggest disappointment for me was now I have a tire with a flat side I will be at chuckwalla 5/4 or 5/5 let me know if any of you guys are going!

Any particular reason why you're dropping it 2"? That seems like a lot and would require suspension geometry fixing.

You weren't able to get enough camber with the R2 camber plates? Do you have OEM crash bolts? I'd imagine that OEM crash bolts + Eibach R2 camber plates would net you over 3.5 in negative camber at the front.
