Doesn't nitrous cause the floor pan to fall off?

Also fries piston rings, and possibly blows the welds on the intake?

only if you are granny-shifting and not double-clutching

I know theres alot of FF one liners but outa respect, could we keep it to a minimum so that this thread stays usefull to people that are interested in this plate kit. Hate to see it crash n burn like the previous nitrous threads. Thanks in advance.

Nice to see it fits with the Perrin intake tube, i wondered how it would work with aftermarket intakes i imagine if you had a fixed metal or molded plastic intake you might have some problems with fitment.

Probably so, its only an inch but. I doubt there would be any play on a solid pipe to get it to work.

I bet it would bolt nicely to an Innovate SC tho lol.

I remember back in the early 90's Stillen used a small Nitrous kit on the 300zx twin turbo at early rpm's to help spool the turbo(s). Innovate shouldn't have a problem on the low end but Vortech kit plus a 35 shot early would probably have an awesome dyno plot if you could get it tuned right.

My last car I ran meth thru a whipple, then on dyno my tuner said hey lets try a 35shot thru the blower. Nite/Day difference. Most mustang tunners will promote nitrous with vortechs to give customers that umph they thought they were buying.

Yeah i'm not impressed with the vortech numbers so far, the kit is beautiful and i'm sure works nicely for those that are looking for that style but that umph is exactly what it needs. By the time you add this kit to the vortech though that price is getting up there.

Other than putting the gauge on the tank all is done. Everything clicks as it should, solenoids via 90% throttle and purge by red momentary switch. Heater heats up via pressure switch so as of rite now im in limbo till friday for thats when I will have time to fill bottle and take a joy ride.[IMG][/IMG][IMG][/IMG][IMG][/IMG][IMG][/IMG][IMG][/IMG]
And one for the FF crowd[IMG][/IMG]

Next will be to dyno and have afr moniterd once all is proven I will slowly continue to upgrade with more nitrous accessories such as window switch, electric opeaner and so on. Hope this thread helps people see there are other options than a 4-5k add on if it is not in your budget.

Can't wait until Friday! Any plans for larger jet size? You mentioned 50hp and possibly 65 or 75 later?
