That's NOK 453.000 converted to USD, yes. Car itself is about 40 grand, the rest is taxes. Cars are practically outlawed in Norway.... And to think that the GT86 is actually a nice car taxwise, you should see the price of a big engined powerful car, it's just ridiculous.

Are they promoting bicycle? This is it hit! I think they are treating it as a luxary item more than a basic needs in US.

I was ready to finance a BRZ Limited 6MT at MSRP last march, before I worked for Subaru. Would've been as follows:

MSRP: $28,265 with destination, Limited 6MT no extra options
Tax (6.25%): $1,766.56
Documentation: $299
Title/registration (new plates): $150

Total: $30,480

Now that I'm selling for Subie I'm hoping I can get it for invoice or less, *fingers crossed* I plan on putting down between $5-10k and financing the remainder.
