You joined after some, err... interesting parts proving by Vivid. There was a bit of controversy.

I installed one on a customers car from New York and I had to spend a few hours remaking the rear section. The driver side tip protruded 3" plus from the passenger side. With that being said, I'm sure there is an array of different lengths.

Buy a catback for the looks and sound, don't count on power because most of the time they don't do much on N/A engines - also saying one is better because it made 1-2 hp better gain always makes me laugh.

Did he do the overpipe section as well? Ive had a few issues when its going to stock stuff but the full header back system on my car actually fit pretty well.

Did you keep in your cat? And did you do any dynos before going to e85. I am going to see if my girl can take it in later this week and see if it gained or lost HP. And I hope the proper clamp will fix the tip sticking out. my girlfriend actually likes the tips sticking out. so if we can bring the other 1 out further is fine .

I was under the impression that even with a header, intake, or exhaust that the engine could careless unless you tune the ECU ?

You will get performance gains regardless of ECU tune, but you will maximize the gains with a proper tune.

No I'm running full catless. Taking them out is really where you can get the power increase. The stock overpipe is designed like trash as well.

Do you smell the exhaust without the cat? I don't really care, just curious

Mmmm, I've gotten used to it but I really only smell the fumes when idling at a light with the window down and a light breeze. Its only slightly noticable. Then again I like that sweet smell of e85 and mo powa.

as in catless header too?

did you feel there was a gain to be had just by removing the 2nd cat?

Its pretty sad that a company cant produce good products consistently. If you're paying upwards of 800 bucks for a piece, you expect good quality fitment. The fact that half of these systems require fab at a shop to fit properly is just plain absurd.

Well before everyone gets on the "this product sucks for fitment" bandwagon, let me get the proper clamp on. If it does not help ill be asking for a refund or replacement. AP said it will fix my issue.
