Since we are not running an inter cooler in front of the radiator there should be no cooling issues. We are only running 4 to 5 psi until someone proves 8 psi and up is reliable. The lag has yet to be determined but we will work it out. Not to worried about it today as we just got it running and are being smooth and cautious until we log some data.

Excuse my ignorance but I figure this is the best thread to ask this question.
Wouldn't adding a turbo be legal so long as the turbo kit is CARB certified and your emissions are low enough? truthfully, I do not know what the process is to make a turbo system CARB certified. Is this something that is hard to find? |

The company developing the turbo kit has to pay for the testing and the application to the state for the E.O. number that makes it smog legal. Usually only high volume vendors (such as Greddy, Cobb, etc) can afford (or choose to afford) this process.

Yes I agree, I believe we are talking big bucks to do that but I'm not sure. I won't be going that route since I'm not a vender just an enthusiast at this point. |

Thanks guys for the support. I will be doing major testing this weekend and see how it ends up. Not looking for crazy horsepower like the other guys building systems, just a fun street and track car.
