DD. Brand new daily driver be nice.
Only having to worry about wof, rego, tires, servicing etc.
Not having to worry about worn out parts till the kms get up high.
I just want to jump in it and enjoy driving it.

It'll end up being my daily driver, though I wouldn't mind taking it out for for some reconnaissance laps.

What car will the FT-86/FR-S/216a be for you?

For me the FT 86 will be a true sports car that I will drive for having fun, training and gaining skills. I am going to track the car. Why I don't get a 911 GT3, is because I can't afford it, but even if could, I would not be satisfied by it, as I like the front engine RWD layout and lightweight. I can not think of any other (band new) car that responds to this creteria. Even the last BMW 1 Series M is way to heavy with its 1495 kg (DIN) though it has 340 PS if not more.
I won't drive the FT-86 only on WE for "show" or as a daily driver, to work, to the gym and so on. My daily car is a very good looking Alfa 147 that is plenty enough and will be even faster after the coming performance mods.

What about you?

Other than the usual Miata comparison, you'd have to go heavier to get more FR performance [i.e. 370Z, Corvette]. Since a Miata would = roll cage straight away to be allowed on racetracks, that limits you to hoping the FT-86 is a good handler.

Obvious question: If you're an FR fan, why does you sig have a shot of the MP4-12C?

Nope, mainly a daily driver. You should give an other option because I would like to get into tracking my car in the future but for the time being its a No.

It would likely be my daily driver, but I'll need to take a test drive and see how well it strikes a balance between dynamic greatness and everyday livability.
