That intake ain't gonna help your noise issues much either. If it is any indication of the exhaust they used I can't say I blame the neighbour for being pissed. He could have been reasonable about it though.

Well that's certainly a catless aftermarket header to start with, not certain which brand. And the fact that you also have the Injen cold air intake tells me the car also has been tuned, (OFT, EcuTek, etc.)
Did they provide you with any details about that? I'll bet the exhaust mods don't end with just the header.
Take a pic of the exhaust tips, that may provide a clue as to which cat back/axle back you have.

Your obviously too loud. Quiet it down, keep the peace.

And Tcoat is right, the guy could have made the first encounter a bit more civil.

ehh...I was completely siding with the OP until he stated his girlfriend explained it like a rocket ship about to take off...if that is the case and she isnt lying (lol), then its just overbearingly loud and should be blatantly obvious.. Im surprised he hasnt been assaulted for it already to be honest, or at the very least been told by others that its ridiculously excessive. I clearly don't have such a problem, but ive owned dozens of sport bikes new and used and its extremely obvious to me when the exhaust is just stupidly excessive, Not sure why the op let this issue go on for as long as it has.

oh and dont get the police involved. terrible idea.

Yep that thing is looking louder by the second!

Loads of people will try to tell you that under 95db is "legal". It is not. The law says you can not alter it to change the sound end of story.
If you are ever down London way I have a brand new stock cat back you can have for free.
The dealer sold you a car equipped with an illegally altered exhaust system and falsified an emissions report since it can not possibly pass with a cat removed.

Do you think there's anything I can do in terms of reaching out to the dealership, having them pay for the OEM or some type of breach in contract or even end the financing term? Might be lawyer questions but.. anything you know about these things would be appreciated.

Thank you!

Doubt it. You signed the purchase agreement so they sort of have that. A lawyer and any fight would probably cost more than an exhaust change would anyway.
If I was in your shoes I would start by replacing the cat back with something quieter and see if that is enough. Leave the header until you try that.

Just get a cheap quiet beater to drive to work, problem is then not an issue. The last thing you want is the police waiting outside your house because this guy called them

Yeah that's what I did at first - start the car in reverse and start backing out right after firing it up. You're right it helps, but doesn't do anything for that initial bark.

If you don't want to spend money, I think your best bet is find someone giving away a stock catback exhaust and throw that on. You could probably even make a few bucks selling your old exhaust.

Depending on the header I might be interested in helping you out and trading you for my stock one

It could be just the catback that's making all the racket.

CSG touring. My ex wife had a Miscarriage do to the vibration/sound from my car. I was about to get rid of it and CSG saved my head/ears and well being.

Another question is, how is my car still valid under warranty after having learned all of this? I've brought it in 3 times now.
