I'll second (third ?) the recommendation for an SUV of some kind. Old people are much better at stepping up into a car.
My wife just got a new Rav4 and I have to step up to get into it. A new-ish used one would be a good bet. |

My vote is Forester. But why not consider any of the other Subarus? The Impreza wagon and Crosstrek are only a little smaller but much cheaper.

I'll do my best.
Make sure to budget for neon underbody lights, as they seem to be required. I can think of Infinity reasons not to buy an Infiniti. Do you dislike seeing out of cars? This is actually a fine car with the N55. Lol at buying a used Audi. Lol at buying a Dodge. Planning on taking your parents to old people soccer practice? Okay sorry about all that...just following directions! - Andrew |

Have you driven a Acura MDX? (2007 or newer specifically) It has 7 seats, lots of room, good power (300hp), AWD, and drives really nice. IMO, it would be a great vehicle to drive your family around in.
