The $1500 quote was probably miscomunication since you mentioned swirls he was probably thinking a full paint correction job + opti...

You guys were quoted on detailing without the detailer seeing the vehicle????.....




For reference these cars need really minimal polishing provided they aren't all swirled up from the dealership.. If that, even mild 1 step corrective treatments yield amazing correction(I speak from experience on all things subaru).

He's a good drive from me so I asked him to give me rough price estimate and I told him there' minor swirls and scratches. I didn't want to drive an hour to just to get raped on the price then drive home.
