One is not usually thanked for "ass clownery"! Maybe it's a Rhode Island thing.

Ooh, I hope they build it! I'll be happily in a BRZ by then, but I still want to see Alfas roaming around on U.S. soil, even if they happen to be built in Japan, lol!

I like ZDan, but that is pretty funny... Anyway, I can think of few better ideas then an Alfa Romeo Spyder based on the new MX-5. Italian flare and style with Japanese engineering... They would have to try really hard to screw this up.

People making mistakes on something as important as the name "Alfa Romeo" (especially when it is spelled correctly in the post title!) NEED to be *corrected*. I did it in a pretty light-hearted way, maybe I need sensitivity training.

"Alpha" is at least somewhat understandable, as it's phonetically the same as "Alfa". But "Romero"? Where do people get this?!
roh-MAY-oh does not rhyme with Camaro...

It isn't used often, as the marque has languished in the US. Porsche is also classically mispronounced, but Ferdinand never got too upset nor do I. I would guess Ferry would fully roll over in his "kastchen" if he knew V-Dub owned majority now though...
