A 2014 BRZ Limited with 500 miles should cost ~20-$21k, according to KBB. They threw in $27k worth of mods and want to sell it for $30k? That just does not add up.

You never get back what you put in mods, actually you're lucky if you manage to get even 1/3-1/4 of it back

The interior is nice. I was surprised that there was no green! I generally like most things, but not the busy green stripes. It's crazy.

I think its ugly...it is also over-inflated on "add-ons cost"

I use to be into the car stereo game and went to competitions etc...

A $1500 head unit actually would cost about $600, but you'd claim it was $1500 when trying to make it sound like you had nicer stuff.

I had MB Quart Door speakers that were listed at $1200, in reality I paid about $550 for them the week the "new" ones came out.

Stereo equipment goes down in value so fast.

Custom work; there is not a set price...so they can quote whatever they want...

Anyway...I think the car is gaudy, but if someone likes that paint scheme...I guess buy it...though its probably a bad idea to buy a car that has been sitting around for 2+ years.

When I was deployed to the Middle East, my Maxima which had 6k miles sat for a year. When I got back, 3 months later, the transmission died (was replaced by Nissan for free). But it spooked me into trading out of that car.

Anyway, interesting find.
