Crazy Good Deal or just Crazy

Here's a 2014 BRZ Limited for sale, customized by Galpin Auto Sales (G.A.S.) with a predicted $27,500 worth of mods put into it. Only has 477 actual miles on it. The list of mods is impressive. The paint scheme, not so much. Still, would the fact that your getting over $60k worth of car for half of that amount interest you? Also, is that interior completely custom? The stitching looks different.

Discusting paint imo. Lots of mods except power. No thanks

$5900 for a 900 watt system?!?!?!?

DuMa 05-02-2016 01:29 PM

i like the wilwood brake kit. Galpin Auto used be the tuning shop for MTV's pimp my ride. Theyre reputable

But yes the interior looks completely custom with different stitching.

I'd be crazy to drive it in public

Nope, no interest. Kinda liked interior seats but the red in stock ones grows on you.

what's going on with the exhaust??

If the mods are something you would want it is a hell of a deal really.

Heads Will Turn As You Drive This One Of A Kind Custom BRZ Built By The World Famous G.A.S. Galpin Auto Sports In Van Nuys, California For The September 2014 Issue Of Popular Mechanics Magazine.

No doubt about that, but not because people are impressed...

I agree with Tcoat. If you can live with the looks/and like the mods, then you're getting a lot for the money. That's assuming the car is new.

I actually find it suspicious, as in too good to be true.

A 2014 BRZ Limited with 500 miles should cost ~20-$21k, according to KBB. They threw in $27k worth of mods and want to sell it for $30k? That just does not add up.

There are probably a pile of guys that would like it just as it is.

They are just realistic in their expectations. No doubt they already made money on it somehow even if just as a promotional write off from the magazine article.
