Ive owned both. The gated shifter is easy to shift and the gears go in precisely although the throws are somewhat long. The FRS in comparison to the gated shifter feels like a short shift transmission. Still not an excuse for his mistake.

From that camera angle it's easy to separate the men from the boys. Game face does not make the car go faster.

Pm me on partout! ...jk I thought you couldnt miss shift all the way to 2nd? As long as you dont let clutch out, and correct it, youre fine, no? Guess these gear boxes dont have a safety lockout?

They do only for first. Still, he would have had to pull pretty hard to make that shift into second. If he was actually in the moment and feeling it instead of playing Speed Racer, he may have caught his error.

This is exactly how i blew my old turbo mr2's original engine up. Luckily i had no crash but it did spin the engine way above its redline. Got lucky on the crash though with no airbag deployments.
