i wish there was some info, some tests (lol, yeah right), any input from drivers, past owners, etc. on these wheels.

i hate to work with assumptions off the cost, but they are extra wide and more of a target for some random rock,
bump, whatever to induce serious damage if their quality is as lacking as the price may lead one to assume.

without a doubt, they are gorgeous, have a killer name, and provide more of road contact at reduced weight
than virtually any wheel on the market with those specs.

i think the moral here is that they're too good to be true.

I think that with more tire, maybe a 245 all around, the wheel would be a bit safer, considering it'll fit and not have clearance issues.

yes, but that would defeat the point of keeping the overall weight at (or very close) to the OEM number.

besides, the fact they're so light makes me wonder about the strength of the metal and cast method used.

Last sunday, in a time attack event, I went a little off track, and hit the beginning of the concrete "apex" (red/white apex)... front right wheel was on the grass and hit the concrete patch (2" high) at about 110km/h (70mph)... I was sure I blew up my tire/rim... Left the track, everything was fine.

Many will likely say the FR-S/BRZ needs more power and while more wouldn’t hurt, those folks (the same ones who have probably never driven on a track) are missing the point.

I'm sure they're just low pressure cast, but they're not that light, A light 18x9 is 16-17lbs. These are 18.9lbs.

For $200/wheel you can't expect greatness, but these are no worse than a rota

Also they look to be a smallish company with much less distribution than rota. Not much reputation commands not much price.

have to say the same and for the price you really cant beat it, also a plus at least for me is that im able to run a square setup and keep same width tires front and rear. Coincidentally i saw the wheels on a car today, look really nice in person.

Not an FRS/BRZ but they still looked awesome.

Looks great! LOVE those wheels soo much.
Still deciding on 18x9 +35 or 18x9.5 +40/+42.... this might have made my mind up.

Didnt know they had a 9.5" with a 40+ offset. I guess it all depends on personal taste. The 9.5 would require a slightly bigger tire which could restrict clearance. I have a 9.5" +40 offset on my Honda with a 245 and it's slightly stretched so I'm guessing the 9" would be good for 245 or less tire, if you want to run more the the 9.5". I'm talking about these tire sizes without having to stretch them, I'm sure you could do a bigger than 245 in the 9".

I was saying in general for wheel choice. Wish I could afford those wheels!

I am thinking on actually going full white with NT03's

I actually have the nt03s on my s2k. I'm running 18x9.5 +40. I didn't know they had our built pattern.
