Added Axiom, Speedline Motorsport and Speedzone to the Directory. Since I am going to be driving through Tacoma on Friday, I think that I will stop by all three to check them out.

Oops, apparently Axiom shut down two years go. Removed from the directory.

Removed Speedline from the Tacoma list. I drove by the address today and it was just a house in a housing development. The phone number was disconnected. Strange.

What about UP Garage in Tacoma?
http://upgarageusa.com/ Their own website shows the address as: 2809 Rochester St. W. Tacoma 98466 I tried to find it... went down Rochester to where it should be, but the road dead-ended at a recycling facility. There was no phone number on the website, so I couldn't call. Big waste of time. Does this place exist and maybe they have their address wrong on their site?

Also, here are some more shops that were suggested to me:
http://www.speedwaremotorsports.com/ http://www.cncautosports.com/ http://www.425motorsports.com/ Anyone know anything about these? Are they appropriate to add to our list? Would you take an FR-S there to have it worked on?

I do believe 425 Motorsports have some sort of affiliation with CNC Autosports though. CNC is an actual performance shop from what I know, but I've never had any work done there. Speedware Motorsports is kind of a combination of the both. They're a distributor and a performance shop and they do a lot of in house fabrication too. Unfortunately, I don't have much experience with them either but I've never heard anything bad about either 3 of the listed shops! Hope this helps, and please correct me if I'm misinformed.

You can also add Garage Autohero to the list as well. Autohero is ran by Ray and he's a one man army and a damn genius. As a multipurpose shop, Ray can do anything from custom cages/manifolds/exhaust/intercooler to full on engine builds, wiring and even some tuning, although he lacks a dyno so if he needs a vehicle tuned, he primarily does street tunes or would recommend PSI (Portland Speed Industries). He converted my stock s13 harness to work with an s15 SR20DET and did it at a GREAT price. Super chill guy too. 100% recommended by me if you need any work done.

I'm trying to add only retail tuner shops to the list. These would be places that you would take your car and they would sell and install parts for you. If I start adding other types of shops then the list is going to get a little out of hand.
425, CNC and Speedware might belong on the list, but I want to have someone actually go to the shops first to see if they really belong. @Le86 has at least heard of them, but we need someone to pop their heads in there. I think I visited UP Garage many years ago and it was in the back of an industrial self storage facility. It was dark and dirty -- not that those conditions would prevent them from doing good work -- but since I couldn't locate the shop I am not going to add it to the list. Garage Auto Hero is another one that might not belong on a retail tuner list... I went to the website and there is no address or phone number. Can't really be open to the public if you can't just show up, ya know?

CNC and Speedware definitely belong then. 425, not so much. They're basically just retail.
