You can hear people talk with these. It is really useful. I highly suggest trying some. The music sounds good too.

Decided to sit outside on the balcony at the office and my phone says it's about 72 degrees right now. This is amazing.

Also, no work is getting done.

I was gonna go this route of some Amazon ones didn't do the trick. Maybe I should just call Kaiser and see how much of a hassle it would be

I don't need to talk to anyone at a concert.

And the music still sounds good to me. -33db makes the sound level perfect to me. I seriously don't understand how people can tolerate a concert or club without earplugs in. Mind boggling.

Cooper, Floyd, Rage Against the Machine, Styx, Rush, Foo Fighters, Metallica, Bowie, Manson, and probably several hundred bar metal bands. Never put a plug in my ears. The thought never even crossed my mind.

Maybe you have shitty hearing to begin with so that's why it doesn't seem painfully loud to you?

Unfortunately, it didn't cross theirs, either, so they're going deaf.

I went to hundreds of concerts back in the day. Name a band popular from 1970 to 84 and I probably saw them, along with many others. I've shaken (correct word??) hands with Ray Charles, Robert Cray mick jagar, and many others, and have had conversations with pat travers, Sammy Hagar, Ronnie Montrose, Ted nugent, and others. Bill weir's sister lived a few doors down growing up. I had many a cocaine night with Bill weir in the 80's, but that is another story. Never wore earplugs at concerts, and I was backstage a lot. I sure say "what?" a lot now.

I never though about it until I saw Green Day last year at Oakland Colusium and got pretty close to the stage. The ringing/muddled sound lasted about a week.

After a smaller venue rock concert last night the ringing hasn't left yet. We'll see how long it last this time.
