In case any interested party hasn't seen the update on the power blocks + Phantom:

"Shiv:
Anyway, tested the BPB yesterday with both the Phantom and NA (full bolt on- OFH + Custom bat-back) set ups. With a tank full of 93oct. With the Phantom, it doesn't look like a good match. Lost power just about everywhere. It didn't look promising so I didn't bother with custom tuning with the BPBs. I will probably give it a try when more time permits though. But these results make sense as more airflow would suggest shortening the runners are the way to go."

I have a couple questions.
I checked my manifold pressure today and sure enough I get 4 PSI max boost.
First question is: Are you guys saying that by adding the dual dump pack to a "stock" phantom setup, I can gain another PSI of boost? Or is that only with the larger compressor? 5 PSI would definitely be worth the price of a couple more batteries.
Second question is a bit more involved.
When I checked my manifold pressure 4 PSI was the max but 0 was the minimum. Is that possible? My VW varies between +15 PSI max to -20 PSI at idle. I thought that maybe the gauge wasn't working for vacuum but if you suck on the hose it does go negative. Am I doing something wrong here?

I have the dual battery pack and I get about 1/2 psi more with it. Have seen 4.5 psi but never 5.

The dual setup requires some new hardware from Rob (I believe) that he is still finalizing testing on. Otherwise I'd be dual right now

You need a new harness but the controller is fine. Relocating the starter battery is the only real problem.

Full throttle Electric Supercharger Build Thread

I just finished my first hpde session with the phantom. I pointed my gopro at the gauge so I can review how It held up later. One question - after coming back in from the session I noticed it's sitting at 26.6 and doesn't seem to be charging back to 28s. Bad battery?

When I had a bad battery the voltage went higher not lower. Give it a bit and see if it recharges.

No the battery is not bad you hit the heat limit of the controller and it is in partial boost mode. Hence back up off the boost. Also remove the rubber lining that is connected to the hood to allow better airflow to keep the control unit cooler.
