I'm sure insurance on a 2+2 is way cheaper than 2 only plus there aren't as many people in the market for a 2 seater sports car even if the 2+2 isn't much better

Think of the rears in Mk3 Supra terms....or AE86....or any other Toyota 2+2...

Yes, you can fit people in the back for short trips or long trips, doesn't really matter. No, they won't be comfortable AT ALL. The only way to be comfortable is if there's only one person riding in the back and they can sit across the seats.

When I had my Mk3 I fit 3 drunk college chicks in the back and 2 in the passenger seat. If I were a douche I would've had some 'fun'...but I'm just a nice guy helping some girls get back to their dorm.

@Rye: Yes, 2+2 is lower on insurance than strict 2 seater.

I wonder if the NA version won't have rear seats, like the international Honda CR-Z compared to the US one. I think Honda's justification for the empty seats was that Americans were too "big" to sit comfortably in the back.

That was a special case. Honda USA is full of idiots...

Kinda suprised no ones done it yet, but anyone wanna start overlaying the mkIII? prefferable against the mki and mkii first, but also against the s2k, 370z, and the other cars that are comparable in size?

The MkIII is only 2 inches longer than the MkII so it really wouldn't have much point in doing that...

...and it's probably all from the massive rear diffuser jutting out!

I wonder if a "4 seater" is cheaper to insure, however.

I would love this. Lighten things up, and give us a huge trunk.
