I was in the middle lane of a 3 way highway, just cruising at 60 with light traffic (just got the car, dont speed unless with traffic, have gotten my share of tickets and leave it all for the track now).

The car was merging from the left (essentially 4 lanes now, with that car having a solid 30 seconds to merge) pulled into the left lane about a car length or two behind me. Next thing I know is I hear a loud "BWWAAAAAA" and the car pulled up beside me, kept going, and got into my lane about 3 car lengths in front of me and then proceeded to go the same speed.

The driver then started slowing down to below the speed limit, which I then proceeded to get into the left lane, pass, and then merge back in to the middle. I was going the speed limit afterwards, and the car was getting smaller and smaller in my rear view mirror.


Thing I hate is, no matter what car i drive, if im behind a slpwer moving car and I have cruise on (I know my speed will be constant)... I go to pass and then the car speeds up and doesnt let me pass, or just matches my speed. ... I dont understand why some people have a superiority complex and cant be passed. It happens ~7/10 times when im just cruising, slowly catching up to a car. I'm perfectly fine with being passed, even if I'm going the speed limit or more, with traffic.

It does sound like he wanted to check out your ride. His face was probably like this about seeing the FR-S! At least he didn't put up a fight when you passed him.

Definitely agree with your pet peeve. Even worse is when people will floor it to a merge point because they don't want to let you in, then proceed to go the speed limit (or below) after you've merged in behind them. So annoying.

Haters man. I had some clown in a ford focus today swerve in front of me and then slam on his brakes on a 65 mph highway with nobody in front of either of us. I was in the left lane, he was in the middle. I really think he was trying to get me to hit him. Then he flips me off like i did something wrong when i beep at him.. Sooo i called the cops to report a reckless drunk driver and gave them his plates.

-Had 4 toyota service guys fighting over each other for the key to my car when I took it in the other day to try and delete my DRL. The service rep that helped me told them NO. He wanted to make sure that no one fks up my shit. I just gave him a smile.

-Ran into another whiteout at a tint shop. After I parked next to him, everyone started checking out our car. Had some random girl come into the shop to talk to me and the other owner for about 15min and just left. She said she wanted one so bad but couldn't wait so she bought a TC instead. Asked us if it was worth trading it in. Just told her do whatever if it put a smile on her face. If only I wasn't married.

-Just had a WRX floor it after driving next to me for a good minute. After he floored it, the car in front switch to his lane and he almost hit them and then he try to switch to another lane and someone else cut him off. it was pretty funny. FAIL.

-Not used to saying "Thank You" so much

Couple days ago a guy driving a White Camry passed by my car, which was parked in front of my home, actually stopped his car in the middle of the road (neighborhood road) when he saw it and opened his door for a good luck. The man then proceeded to give me the thumbs up. Several other stories too...

Some idiot in a debadged Maxima did the ricer flyby on me today. We were both coming off an off-ramp from the highway, light was red so I came to a full stop, as soon as I started to go he floored it around and past me. I just rolled my eyes and kept driving.

I went through the drive-thru at the bank a few days ago. There was two cars ahead of me of high school kids. One car in front was a Civic, behind it was an xB. A girl from the Civic was standing on the driver side of the xB talking to the driver. When I pulled up I heard her tell the driver to move since there was a car in line. She turned to walk to the Civic, stopped, spun back around, and said "Oh my god I love your car" and just stared at it for a few seconds. When she got into the Civic I saw he keep looking in the mirror.

A young guy later runs up to me in a parking lot. "omg omg omg omg, is that an FR-S?" "My Legacy is in the shop getting Greddy exhaust" "They are making a turbo, please tell me your going to boost it!!!" The kid was drooling! LOL

Two Harley's roll up behind at a light. One guy yells (over his loud pipes, blub blub blub) to the the other. "what is that?" the other one yells back "thats a scion, they build shitty cars." I was LMAO!!!
