If you don't see that, well then your perception of reality is some what distorted.

Maybe not where you live, but where I live, there is a Mustang club and that's all they do is road course. Just saying...

I assume you mean stock vs stock. Both modded and a price limit of lets say $5-10k in proper mods for each car an STI is probably going to be faster than a 5.0 mustang.

$ for $ its very easy to get an STI up there with the likes of Z06's. This is the cars main strength IMO... besides usability.

^Yes because adding mods to the equation is not at all a slippery slope that makes for completely useless comparisons.
New v New or don't bother.

I sure hope TDOs have taken account the release of the BRZ this summer and have added more dates to their trackday calendars to account for the hundreds - if not thousands - of BRZ owners who are about to take over track days around the world!

lol you can argue that, but its very easy to call an STI "soft" in some kind of universal statement, when yeah it is kinda soft stock, but realistically it is a great platform to make into a track car for very little extra money on top of the price of the car.

Not to mention when we are talking about tracking cars, who actually leaves theirs completely 100% stock?

Fatoni made a statement about the STI vs Mustang on a track, so I think its relevent.

maybe, although its certainly debatable. im fairly certain that 35k, 40k, 50k or any number really in total will have a faster mustang than an sti
