I thought Toyota HQ moved to Nagoya? And testing is done in Shizuoka?

all i can say is that we were in the prefecture of aichi where toyota city is located for a meeting and we also had a meeting at TTC.

unfortunately i can't say more. plus you guys have other insiders. i'm just like you, a guy that's excited about a car.

to that PATUNER member. your probably 18yrs old but stop acting like you work for a tabloid magazine. jeez.

here...

want some more. how about meeting pictures? and if your not satisifed click properties and do some investigating where the pictures were uploaded.

have fun guys and the car will be worth the long wait.

Not the shinkansen?

Open ended question, Ichi... how it is answered (and not by you ) gives information.

Credibility be damned, I like TRDliquidsilver's posts. Time will tell whether he's right or not, I still enjoy reading his posts a lot. They sound far more plausible than some other "insider" info posted here. If they end up being inaccurate/wrong, who cares?

I went on a guided tour to the royal palace in Cambodia. I went to a restricted section, that doesn't make me a special one or I have something related to royal family or someone guys over there.

I used to stop into a Scion dealership in the summer of '04 to chat with TRDLiquidSilver (in person, very cool and articulate guy with a strong appreciation for cars). He scrapped together whatever truthful info he could find on the tC as its launch date approached (I was wait-listed months ahead). I decided on a Celica GT-S and he supported my decision whilst losing out on a sale. I haven't seen him since but seeing him on here posting this info, I figure he's made some career moves within the corporation. His posts come as no surprise.

Better discussion can be had if we speculate/question the [reasonable] stuff he posts about the car instead of speculate/question the person giving the info. He pops in, posts info (which sounds purely objective), pops out, repeats. Disbelieving him is ok... but attacking his credibility? I don't think he posts to waste his time.

Trolls, speak only if you can disprove his credibility (with proof). Otherwise, show some respect for your fellow enthusiast and STFU.

Let's focus on this pic for a bit. Does it look like the production FT86's body in white to you?

Looking at the closest car, it seems to me that there is a huge (door?) opening in front of the rear quarter panel, so it looks more like a 4-door body than a 2-door one.

What do you suppose those bodies are for?

That pic looks nothing like the FT-86. Could be an Impreza? Rich was trying to show he's in some manufacturing plant in Japan. "In proximity" but doesn't give us any useful info, unfortunately.

And there are no indentation on the top of the roof...

To me, it looks like a scrap yard for creating test mules!
