Haha... 61yo that had an X1/9 too!

Im 52 and the frs was the first brand new car I ever purchased. Too old to be fixing shit every weekend and too young for an econo box. Not to mention too poor for a 911

I laugh when people call my car slow. Mine is tuned and accelerates effortlessly. 90mph off an uphill on ramp. Try that in a tr6

63, from Nelspruit, South Africa.

I drive a 2013 Toyota 86 Vortech supercharged which I race in time attack events.
It's still road legal so I sometimes use it as a daily driver, and for outings and roadtrips.

I'm 46 and drive a modded FRS. Every time I go to a meet with 86's (or any imports) I feel like the oldest dude there. When I go to a classics or American muscle car sort of meet, everyone is my age but I have the wrong car! But I hate muscle cars so my car is always a curiosity.

Ha...forgot that I started this thread way back when I was a yungun! Course being old I forgot all the stuff so it was fun to go back to the start and read all the way to the end!

Nothing much new to add except that I am still alive, still drive an FRS that has never been washed, (makes me a dirty old man) and the P1800 project is still moving along nicely.

And in a moment of clarity, I found a better picture of the" Misfit"

I admire your dedication. I hate having to clean it. Mrs. Ultra makes me do it.

Is that a "cop stache" I see? I used to have a big 'ol caterpillar under my nose.

I washed mine yesterday knowing full well it was going to rain today. Washing it is therapeutic for me.

"cop stache"? Is that why shady looking strangers get nervous when I walk in?
