Picking mine up June 19th...looking forward to getting out meeting some of your guys and seeing your cars.
I would be interested in checking out some of these events too and even participating but are there ever any track events or autocrosses that are geared to beginners? |

Check out the Calabogie track thread. The MCO track events are definitely beginner friendly. It was my first time ever on the track with a car and I didn't feel uncomfortable at all. Instructors are provided and everyone in the beginner run group is there to learn.

Next event in-town is Sat June 14th at the Canadian Tire Place. It's going to be a fun one since it's the "Interprovincial Cup", ie Ontario vs. Quebec. A bunch of quick drivers from Montreal will be coming down to try to win bragging rights. Next year, they play host and we invade their turf. The full MCO autocross schedule can be found here: http://www.mco.org/phpbb/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=16203 That area of the forum provides on-going info for autocrossers: http://www.mco.org/phpbb/viewforum.php?f=3 |

I'll admit, I was a little nervous at first, but the track is plenty wide, and once you progress your speed at a pace you are comfortable with, you should be fine.

M & M
Was packed last night. Good time as the weather finally cooperated. Have to say though that the drive home was the most fun with the 4 of us in tow. Chad left us at the lights. Car looks and sounds really good. I think all the people around us were a little confused with the 4 different sets of tail lights on the cars. pretty cool to see. I can't for winter reasons but the cars look sooooo good lowered!!! super jelly! thanks for a good night all. Was nice meeting Jim ( FRS with 5 axis kit
) and seeing that new red Subaru BRZ with 10 km on it. awesome.Well I'm off to the fights now. Have a great day all. |

Well snapped the bolt off the exhaust tip....got a screw extractor piece but need a hoist or a flat out of sun area to jack up the car...exhaust tips will have to wait.
